Citaat:In comparison to other dog beaches, this one is really big! very laidback atmosphere, and lovely to not have the feeling to be 'intruding' with your dog. I would definitely recommend this dog beach, and am coming back for sure. Word of warning though: you can drive along next to the beach to find a parking spot right in front of the dog beach. The tourist office in Empuries recommended a parking lot in town, and told us it was a short walk. We were quite disappointed to see that we could have parked a lot closer (a 2km difference - which is a lot for a dog on hot sand...). Also, no bars or shops nearby and no water tap, so make sure to bring enough provisions for you and your doggy!
Citaat:Little dog beach. The place seems rather limited, so during the summer season I have the feeling the beach gets quite packed. But maybe they will improve this over time as they see how many people want to visit the beach with their dogs? It was lovely to have a fresh water tap! I would recommend this beach for a quick stop!
Citaat:Our dogs absolutely adored this doggy water park! Two swimming pools (one with a jumping ramp, accessible to all dogs & one for small dogs (-10kg) or old dogs). Toys are readily available, which was nice because the toy we brought did not float. Near the entrance you have a separate play area with dunes (lovely to roll around in after they had a swim). There is also a zone to rest & relax, as well as a bar/restaurant & a shop with goodies for your dogs. Very friendly staff! We went on a Tuesday so it wasn't too busy. I would definitely recommend if you are looking for a fun day out with your dog!
